“Presently, the Far Eastern regional (air) company Aurora has been established… The Sakhalin Region acquired 51% of Aurora from Aeroflot for 1 ruble, according to the previous decision,” he said.

Savelyev added that the ministry is working on purchasing additional 5% of Aurora.

“We are currently working on conclusion of contracts to acquire 5% of Aurora. Such shareholder agreements are at the stage of signing, many of them have already been signed. And as a response, Aurora will receive 25% plus one share in regional air companies of the Far Eastern District,” he said.
